In the season 2010-2011 the BUTTS League badges were first introduced. Similar to FITA stars/rose awards/target awards and the numerous other badges that people pin to their quiver to reward student archers in BUTTS. Like the other systems there are Gold, Red, Blue, Black and White badges. So far over 300 badges have been claimed in just two years. There are also Purple BUTTS badges only awarded to people for special service towards University Archery and the BUTTS
League Full details of the badges can be found here
The 2011-2012 Indoor Championships at Loughborough saw the inaugural awarding of the Purple BUTTS badge. The award
was given three worthy winners: - Tom
Cram for exceptional work within the league running the indoor championships
and many other shoots as well as dedication to his team.
- Chris Blake for services to social archery as well as performance in hosting this years BUTC among other shoots.
- Ashleigh
McCloud for being one of the founding members of AFS (Archery for
Students), running four national university tournaments.
